Cacao & Sound Ceremony

Join Dom Hatcher (founder of Cacao Sita)  for a uplifting & nurturing afternoon of working with the beautiful medicine of Ceremonial Cacao and being bathed in the healing frequencies of Tibetan Bowls, Nepalese Gongs & other healing instruments, all held within the warm embrace of the SouLand Yurt.

Aligned with the powerful full moon in Gemini, this gathering is a powerful moment to reflect, release, and set intentions for the New Year.

We’ll begin by sharing ceremonial cacao, whose rich, heart-opening medicine will ground, centre & connect you, inviting inner exploration and expanding your sense of Self Gnosis.

Nestled in the cosy, heated yurt, you’ll feel safe and supported as we explore breath, movement and shamanic journeying all with the assistance of Mama Cacao.

To help integrate your journey we’ll guide you into a deeply soothing sound bath, where the harmonic frequencies of Tibetan bowls, Nepalese Gongs, and other healing instruments will wash over you, bringing deep relaxation, renewal, and clarity.

Together, these practices offer a gentle yet transformative winter reset—a nurturing break for reflection, connection, and warmth amidst the cooler winter energies.

Wisdom Within – Mother Circle

Come and join us for a nurturing 2 hour mother circle where Sofia will hold space for you and your baby. Allow yourself to come and “be”, knowing that you are free to be your authentic self and everything is welcomed without judgement. Women and mothers have gathered together in circle since time began, helping them to bond and heal from their mental and physical wounds and creating a strong feminine bond.

You will be guided through some relaxation, mediation, journaling and some crafting. Herbal teas and snacks will be served throughout.

This circle is suitable for mothers with babes in arms up to 8 months and mothers with older children too.

 Imbolc Lunar Sound Journey

This Imbolc Lunar sound journey with Bodhini and David takes place on the new moon when the Celtic cross quarter festival Imbolc, is said to have traditionally been celebrated. Imbolc marks the very first stirrings of Spring after natures dark, wintery sleep.
This sound journey
will be a meditative experience of release, transition and integration to make way for the new beginnings and growth.

Sunday Sound Bath

End you week with Alison’s monthly healing Sunday Sound Bath. Using Tibetan & Crystal bowls, Drum & Gong, to create peace and calm for your mind and body. This is a deeply relaxing experience and is suited to everyone & every-body. Those who find it hard to shut down would really benefit from this session.

The waves created through Sound Healing are felt and heard by you, the recipient, and converted into electrical signals that travel to the part of your brain that processes sound. This triggers responses that release happy hormones (Endorphins and Serotonin), which in turn activates the deepest healing responses in your mind and body.

Simply lay on the yurt floor wrapped in blankets by the wood-burning stove, close your eyes and listen to the beautiful healing vibrations and sounds as it sends you into deep relaxation.

Drift into serenity joining Amy for a 2-hour yin and crystal singing bowl experience. Yin Yoga provides the perfect counterbalance to the more dynamic, yang styles of yoga, focusing on long-held postures to release tension, improve flexibility, and enhance joint health. Yin accompanied with a soothing crystal sound bath works with the body’s meridian system to promote energetic balance and help release emotional blockages and support overall emotional well-being.
The meditative nature of this practise will allow you to connect more deeply with your body, fostering greater self-awareness and a sense of inner peace.

Welcome to “The Temple of Rest,” a sanctuary of deep relaxation and restoration designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit. In this 2-hour journey, Bodhini will gently guide you through practices that cultivate a profound sense of rest, inviting you to reconnect with the inner stillness that often eludes us in our busy lives. Through intention setting, gentle movement,calming pranayama , yoga nidra, sound therapy, and reflective practices, you will have the opportunity to explore the barriers to rest and discover a deeper connection to your own well-being. This experience is open to all, regardless of your level of experience with these practices.

In the quiet embrace of SouLands yurt nestled in nature, we will connect deeply with the vitality of this transformative time. Through intentional silence, you’ll discover the power that emerges from within when the mind becomes still and the heart opens to renewal.

Spring offers us a unique opportunity to plant seeds of growth, release what no longer serves us, and step into the fullness of our potential. Together, in shared silence, we will welcome the energy of Mother Nature’s new year and the emergence of fresh possibilities in our lives.

This retreat invites you to pause, reflect, and harness the quiet strength of the season to nurture your inner growth and transformation.

It is only through direct experience that one can truly appreciate the benefits of spending longer periods of time in silence.
However, many silent retreats are from three to ten days long and this can feel daunting if you have never done it before.

Our schedule:
10:15: Arrival and settling in.
10:30 Introduction and opening meditation
11:15: Mindful Movement & Gentle Yoga
12:30: Silent time for Rest and Reflection or Walking Meditation
1:15pm Silent Lunch
2:15: Yoga Nidra
2:45: Silent Empowerment Ceremony
3:30pm: Closing Circle and Reflections

This retreat day is limited to just 10 spaces, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Light Lunch: We will be providing a light vegetarian lunch and a sweet treat made by Indira, The Kitchen Mama plus herbal teas.

If anyone has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please do let us know as soon as possible.

This retreat day will be a phone free retreat. I would suggest that you only attend if you are prepared to switch your phone off and not check for calls or emails between 10:30 – 4pm.
This is so that you can fully switch off and reap the most benefits from the silent retreat.

Please bring a flask or water bottle, and if you feel inspired, a journal and pen. Also, consider bringing weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear, in case there’s an opportunity for a walk. We look forward to welcoming you x
