About SouLand

The absolute beauty and melody of nature not only boosts our physical wellbeing and mental health, but also reminds us that we are part of something bigger. A part of the natural world, not apart from it.

Our Story

SouLand began after Zoe came home from a magical journey to Rishikesh, India—the birthplace of yoga. Inspired by the mountains, the people, and the deep connection to nature, she returned with a full heart and a clear dream: to create a space where others could feel that same connection, peace, and joy.

Now, tucked away in the Hertfordshire countryside, SouLand is that space—a warm, welcoming yurt where you can stretch, breathe, move, rest, laugh, or just be.

We’re a laid-back, loving community where all are welcome—whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years. We believe in meeting ourselves with kindness, growing together, and celebrating the small, beautiful moments of life.

Need a morning stretch? A moment of stillness? A barefoot dance under the moon? You’re in the right place.

Come as you are. We’re so happy you’re here.

Together we rise!

With love,

The SouLand Tribe 🌙💛

Each time we join together here at SouLand, it is an opportunity for every one of us to grow, to listen and to learn and we are so very grateful for you all.

Life is magical, so are you, and that is the message of which we are here to remind you.

Together we rise!

Zoe Walker - SouLand Yoga

Zoe Walker

Owner, SouLand

Zoe lives yoga, taking the teachings and applying them to all aspects of her life. Her practice is alive and ever-evolving filled with wisdom and Kriya coming from the Yog-Vedantic teachings of the Himalayas and her Master Anand Mehrotra.

She believes that if we focus on our breath, mind, and body, we create a deep connection within ourselves, to our internal nature.  When we are consistent with our yoga practice we start to develop an awareness of our own energy – our prana, or life force – which, over time, we come to realise is the same life force within all living beings. That’s why practising yoga amongst nature, where it was born, is like coming home. It gives us that sense of interconnection, oneness, unity and bliss!
